Opening of Aley Festival

Aley festival, entertainment, artistic and cultural event organized by the Young Women's Association, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Municipality of Aley and Resources Bank in the area of the Symposium 2000 .

The ceremony was attended by the Minister Akram Chehayeb and his wife, the Minister of Culture represented by Mrs. Rasha Al-Alawi, members of the Municipal Council of Aley City,  Badr Zidan Aridi, the representative of the Resource Bank Mrs. Nahla Khadaj Bo Diab, guest of honor Badih Abu Shakra, President of the National Conservatory, Mr. Tamim Hilal, and the presence of a number of media professionals.

The celebration began with the national anthem. Then the master of the ceremony, Imad Feghali, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the audience. He said that the occasion was an atmosphere of joy and added hope to the souls through organizing the festivals that raise the city of Aley.
After welcoming the attendees, the organization of the festival, the head of the 'Young Women's Association', Anisa Jaber, spoke about the activities of the association. It established a public library in addition to many cultural, educational and economic activities, workshops and a music and children's club.
The representative of the Mayor of Aley, Mr. Ghassan Shaheen, thanked the Mayor of Aley, Mr. Wajdi Murad, for his efforts and his keenness to provide development and tourism services, and stressed the great role played by the Municipality in Supporting tourism and cultural activities.

The concert included speeches, honors and music performances for the students of the National Conservatory  Aley and dance for Ein Anoub. The Lebanese Scout Ensemble led a musical performance, and the ceremony ended with a bundle of songs for the glamorous singer Haneen where the audience interacted with great enthusiasm and a wonderful sense.
Then everyone went to cut the ribbon and open the exhibition.
The festival continued on Saturday and Sunday 21/22 July.
