The Mayor of Aley, Wajdi Murad, and members of the municipal council inspected the work done by the municipality in the city.
Murad said that this tour is to see the work of the municipality in the framework of beautification of the city's sidewalks, especially in the Ras Al-Jabal area, which has become a distinctive tourist landmark. He added that "this area includes about 380 sculptures and works of art for distinguished Lebanese, Arab and international artists , Strewn streets and squares. "
"We have also seen the work done on the peripheral road that connects the town of Ein al-Sayyida in the western region of Aley and Al-Sahhar to the south, and if it is completed, we hope that soon, it will ease traffic congestion in the city of Aley," he said.
Murad concluded: "It is our duty to see on the ground the work carried out by the municipality and ensure that the required specifications are met."
