On the occasion of the International Polio Eradication Day (Polio plus), in which Rotary International played a key role in the financing and implementation of a global vaccine campaign to combat it, with the support and attendance of the Ministries of Health, Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Aley.
World polio day marathon was organized by Rotary International, Rotary aley, rotaract & interact.
On Sunday 21/10/2018 at the Aley City Symposium in Ras Al Jabal area, with members and friends from all Rotary clubs, schools, NGOs and sports clubs.

In the presence of His Excellency Minister Akram Shehayeb and many cultural and sporting events, the races started at 8:00 am

_ Jogging race12 km
_Cycling 35 km

After the arrival of the contestants and in the presence of the representative of the army commander, Col. Fadi Wehbe, representative of Al-Mawarid Bank "Mohammad Talhouk", Governor of Rotary "Michel Jazzar" and representatives of Rotary International and Lebanese clubs, the cups and medals were distributed to the winners. Artist Amir Amouri and his band performed the song. The artistic day of carnival parade, sports teams, scouts, motorcycles and ATV continued with rotaract, interactive talent and a diverse artistic celebration by artist Michel Abdou and his band, Hip Hop, holistic, clubs and specialized dance.
